We are delighted to confirm that Elrond Burrell has joined the Kiss House team as our person on the ground in New Zealand and Australia.
We simply could not think of a better person to represent us in this part of the world and can’t wait to get started. Elrond who is from New Zealand and has recently returned to live there, is an experienced architect having worked for Architype a highly regarded UK practice specialising in Passivhaus. He is also a renowned expert on BIM for sustainable design and an influential voice on Passivhaus, writing the highly regarded and brilliantly informative ‘Passivhaus in Plain English’ blog twice monthly.
We first met Elrond when he was based in the UK. By happy coincidence Elrond had seen a photograph of Sandpath (the original design Kiss House has been developed from) on Twitter, and it prompted him to comment that “it would make a fantastic Passivhaus”. He had seemingly read our minds because we were already working on optimising Sandpath for Passivhaus Certification and developing the Kiss House offering.
The rest as they say is history and has led us to today and being able to welcome Elrond, and in turn to New Zealand and Australia to Kiss House! Since launching Kiss House a month ago we have been fortunate to receive sales enquiries from all over the world. Many of these have come from New Zealand and Australia, we now look forward to generating more and working with all of those who are interested.
Should you wish to contact Elrond please email him firstname.lastname@example.org
Finally Elrond joining Kiss House is the first of what we hope will be a series of appointments in key locations around the world. We are for example already talking to trusted colleagues on the ground in locations such as the USA & Canada. We hope to announce more soon.
With best wishes
The Kiss House Team
