The Utility Tote from Lost Property of London

In celebration of our first Kiss Life newsletter we’re running a competition open exclusively to our newsletter subscribers.

Kiss House is on a mission to change housing for the better and we need your help! We can only do this if we understand what really matters to you so we’re inviting you to complete our questionnaire which asks about your key considerations when thinking about building your own home.

Most questions are tick boxes and the form will take between three and four minutes to complete. Your answers will directly feed into our product development and the information that we create for our factsheets and newsletters. The prize.

To thank you for your time we’re offering a handcrafted Utility Tote bag from Lost Property of London as a prize for one lucky winner. The winner will be picked at random from all forms completed (please note – if you have already completed the form and subscribed to our newsletter, we will enter your name to the prize draw automatically). Lost Property of London was established in 2009 by Katy Bell and John Maskell former students of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London. Katy and John graduated in Textile Design and Graphic Design and Advertising respectively in 2006. They’re all about pared-back design, responsible material sourcing and zero waste principles.

We love their Utility Tote for its simple form, ease of use, utilitarian aesthetic and because it is made from beautiful surplus cotton canvas finished with a vegetable tanned leather shoulder strap. We have it in orange with black shoulder strap for our competition giveaway.

Terms & conditions

1. How to enter
1.1. Entry to the competition made solely by completing and submitting the form in the competition link.
1.2. The winner will be selected at random when the competition closes.

2. When to enter and who can enter
2.1. The Competition opens on Saturday 24th August 2019 at 9am and closes Saturday 31st August 2019 at midnight.
2.2. Entrants can enter at any time between these dates.
2.3. The Competition is open all Kiss House Ltd newsletter subscribers.
2.4. Only one competition entry per newsletter subscriber will be entered into the competition.
2.5. Automated or bulk entries from third parties will be disqualified.
2.6. Kiss House Ltd employees and associates are not permitted to enter.

3. Prizes
3.1. The prize for winning the competition is a Lost Property of London Utility Tote in orange and black. Value £105.00 excluding postage and packaging.
3.2. The prize can be shipped anywhere in the world, an accurate full name and address must be provided within two weeks of the Competition ending. We cannot accept responsibility for lost items. Winner is responsible for paying any additional charges including import taxes where applicable.
3.3. The Prize is as stated and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash, goods or services.
3.4 The Prize is not transferable.

4. Data protection and publicity
4.1. You consent to your name, being disclosed in the Kiss House Ltd newsletter if you win and accept any Prize under the Competition.
4.2. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. By entering the Competition, you agree that Kiss House Ltd may contact you in relation to the Competition.
4.3. Competition winner will be contacted by Kiss House Ltd. You must provide accurate contact details and postal address on notification see 3.2 above.

5.Competition rules
5.1. The Competition will be run and Prizes will be awarded at Kiss House Ltd sole discretion.
5.2. We reserve the right to change the Competition rules and these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we do so, we will always announce the change in our most recent Newsletter. Your continued subscription to the Newsletter will constitute your acceptance of the new rules and/or Terms and Conditions.
5.3. All intellectual property rights in the images and materials on the Website and Newsletter and used in the services provided by Kiss House Ltd, belong to Kiss House Ltd, and no person may make any use of them without express permission.

6. Liability and Indemnities
6.1. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, Kiss House Ltd and its associated companies and agents and distributors exclude responsibility and all liabilities, whether direct or indirect, arising from:
6.1.1. any postponement or cancellation of the Competition;
6.1.2. any changes to, the supply of or use of the Prize; and
6.1.3. any act or default of any supplier, which are beyond Kiss House Ltd control
6.2. Kiss House Ltd does not accept responsibility for any liability arising from technical incompatibility, problems relating to the internet, or technical difficulties of any kind.
6.3. Kiss House Ltd shall not be liable, whether in tort, contract, misrepresentation or otherwise for loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goods, loss of use, loss or corruption of data or information, or any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses.
6.4. You agree to indemnify Kiss House Ltd against all liabilities, claims and expenses that may arise from any breach of your agreement with Kiss House Ltd

7. Jurisdiction
7.1. The Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law. England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
